day 170: June 19th

Happy Father's Day! I am a terrible mother and forgot to take pictures of Jeff with his boys. Instead, I was too interested and worried about the rain. That kept coming and coming and coming. If it rains tomorrow, I think I will cry. And I am not so sure I will be able to ever get over it.

day 169: June 18th

We went to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat tonight. It was so fun. It was held outside in the amphitheatre which was nice so if the kiddos got restless, they could still be a little loud and move around. Ironically, Crew sat through most of it, Cole had a little harder time and Jake was enthralled.

Baseball has begun for our middle child. He loves it more than words can say. He slid at every single base. It was awesome.

day 164: June 13th

Our Jakers very last chemo day at the clinic happened today. We still have to take pills for a couple more weeks, but it was our last iv push of vincristine. Crazy crazy. And as you can see, the amazing doctors and nurses gave him a huge party to celebrate! No wonder this kid thinks having cancer is awesome!
(One of our favorite nurses. Isn't she darling? Love her. They all sang to him and brought him presents and a poster congratulating him. He was in heaven)

Went to the lake for the first time this year... Cole jumped in and jumped right back out. He was the only one brave enough to even touch the water. It was freezing and windy! Hopefully it will warm up in the next couple of months enough to actually stay the day out there!

day 156: June 5th

This picture is so Jake. It was FREEZING today. And the school had their field day. Which means that even though it is horribly cold, a fire truck comes and sprays the kids with water. They loved it! (Even though they were turning blue by the time they left the school!)

day 152: June 1st

Cole's kindergarten graduation. I almost cried. I can't believe he is going to be in first grade next year. My baby that has promised to stay my baby forever just keeps getting bigger. It is so sad!

Went on a field trip with Cole's class to the Tracy Aviary today and found a mamma duck sitting on lots of eggs...

day 150: May 30th

Happy Memorial Day! We spent the day swimming and having barbques even though it was freezing cold.

Our pouty little Cole train. As sweet as he is, I am sure you will be surprised to find he has quite the temper on him...

Roasted marshmallows and hot dogs in the rain today with some of our favorite friends. It was cold and that river is crazy scary! But, the kids had fun looking for bears and actually catching a mouse. And then killing it on accident. It was lovely.

We got to go to Jake's class and listen to him share his stories he has written throughout the year today. The kid loves to read and I caught him sneakily reading at his desk while waiting to start.
