I know. I know. I have tons of pictures of the kids fishing and of animals we saw by the side of the road and of Old Faithful going off and this is the picture I am using. But I LOVE it. The boys went to town with the boxing gloves. And to me, it just screams, boy.

We find him in some sort of water every second of every day. Wether it is the pool, or watering the tomatoes or spraying his brother down with the hose and even washing dishes. I cannot even begin to tell you how many times our sink has clogged up in the last six months due to this child washing his dishes in the bathroom sink and then squeezing toilet paper down the drain.

Jake and Cole have been going to the Johnsen and Johnsen basketball camp all week... they have loved it and think they are now pros.

That time of year again! We have to admit, we did not do much this year. We have been way too busy and it was kind of nice to take a year off. We did not even sleep over. But, we did go and play some laser tag and climb the rock wall and get faces painted and have lots of yummy treats! We love Relay for Life and they did an awesome job planning it this year!

day 188: July 7th

We found a baby kitten in some bushes at my dads house and brought him home. The boys have become infatuated with her. Her name is Roxy and she will be going to the pound soon. So sad. And she is so sweet.

day 182: July 1st

We got to Lake Powell today after searching for a hotel in the wee hours of the morning. We stayed in Kanab for the night and we literally tried to get into every hotel in the town. We finally found one at 5:00 in the morning. But today, we are well rested and on the beautiful lake! We LOVE it here!

(I couldn't choose which one I liked better, you can pick for me!) We went up to Liberty Park this afternoon for a picnic. The boys rode on the rides and played in the water fountains and had fun splashing everyone in sight. They did not have a fun time going home. They of course wanted to stay the night-- but Jeff and I had a trip planned to go to Lake Powell with no kiddos... we left late, at about 10:30 that night.

day 180: June 29th

We went with Gramsies and Pa to the Jordan Parkway to ride bikes and get a treat at Gardner Village. It was much fun except for on the way home, Cole had a little trouble with the bugs that came out to play. One flew up his nose, the other in his mouth and then he accidentally killed one which made him cry and have to stop his bike to have a small meltdown. Can anyone say tired?

June 24th 2011. The day has finally come! NO MORE STEROIDS in our house! EVER! Hooray. It was the last day of chemo pills for Jake today. Whoever says time does not go by fast had better come talk to me, because I cannot believe this day came and went. It is so scary, but so exciting that we made it...

We took the boys to Park City for a little school shopping and Alpine Slides. Couldn't resist the dippin' dots after...

day 172: June 21st

The only thing I wanted to do today was sit in a chair and stare at the wall. I think I got my wish by staring at my kids in the pool ALL DAY LONG. We are talking from 10:30 until about 7:00. It was great. And much needed after yesterday!

Good-bye balloons! (The boys sent them to Jesus)

Today's My Party! Jake's Cancer Free Party that is.

(And thank the heavens it is over.) I honestly felt like I was planning a wedding. But, it turned out awesome and just like I wanted it too--with NO rain! I will post the rest of the pictures on our family blog in the next few days.
