day 361: December 27th
Ugh. Does it look like I have a bit of catching up to do or what? My computer has had many issues. And I am slowly catching up. Luckily the 42,000 pictures that went missing were found after five hours on the phone with the MAC people. It's been fun.
day 359: December 25th
Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus! It would be as dreary as if there were no Virginias. There would be no child-like faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished.

day 349: December 15th
My sweet boy was in the nutcracker this year. It was put on by his first grade class in school. He was a glowstick and a penny whistle. He did awesome! And loved every second of his glory onstage!
day 347: December 13th
We spent the morning at clinic with this kid trying to figure out what a bump is doing on his little body. If it is not gone in a week or two, they will biopsy it. It is another scary waiting game. He keeps us on our toes.
day 346: December 12th
We visited a Candlelight Christmas at This is the Place park tonight. The boys loved it. The main reason I wanted to go was for the live nativity, but they had a TON of other things to do as well.

That crazy elf painted the boys noses red while they were sleeping just like rudolph's!
day 341: December 7th
This picture does not do this place justice at all. It was pouring rain and I didn't want to ruin my camera, but the memorial for the twin towers is incredible. They have done an amazing job on them. It is a special place.
day 339: December 5th
The view from our hotel room. Can you guess where I am? One of my favorite places on earth. New York at Christmastime. I love it here. And am trying to talk Jeff into moving here for a year. So far, it has not worked. One day. Maybe.

Reading about what mischief that darn elf has been up to during the night. The boys are finding out they are going to be put on the naughty list if they can't get their little acts together and listen!!!
day 327: November 23rd
Guess who showed up today? DASH. The elf. The greatest elf there ever was. I don't know how we will get our children to behave when he goes back to the North Pole at the end of the month.

It is after midnight and I have yet to take a picture for the day. What better than to show how clean we are today?
