Guess what I got to do today??!! Meet my bran-new sweet baby niece at not even a full day old yet. I am green with jealousy right now. I want her. She is BEAUTIFUL! And I love her.

My grandpa's funeral was today. We drove to Kanab yesterday and then left this afternoon. Quick trip, but worth it. The service was beautiful. Cold and snowy, but very nice. So glad we were able to go.

Day 50: February 19th

I am going to have to play catch up here... the last week or so has been insanely BUSY! I feel like I have not sat down for one second!



CONGRATS to my awesome hubby for getting promoted to TC at work this last week. We have had a gift card to celebrate since christmas at an amazing sushi restaurant in Park City that we were waiting to use until he got there! We were able to go up this week and celebrate! Yay for him! I am so excited that he made it as he has put so much effort and work into it. SO proud of him!

day 49: february 18th

My sweet niece has been in town the last few weeks. We have LOVED having her here! She keeps all three of my boys entertained like nothing else. She has them playing princess and house and dolls and barbies, which I have never seen my older two do before! She obviously has us all wrapped around her little finger.

I took this picture when Cole was at school and it was just Crew and Isabelle playing. I sat at the door and listened for awhile before they noticed I was there. Crew was the dad. Isabelle was the baby sister and as soon as Stockton walked in, he was the monster. Crew kept telling Isabelle "You my best friend." Love. I don't know what we will do when she has to go back home!

day 48: february 17th

We spent the morning at the hospital and drove back home this afternoon. It was heart wrenching to watch my poor grandpa. He wanted to leave but couldn't talk, so they ended up having to sedate him because he kept pulling his tubes out. I HATE that disease. It is brutal. I hate having to watch what those drugs can do to you. It brings back too many memories that hit a little too close to home. Regardless, I am so glad we went to see him. He is the sweetest man and I have so many memories visiting him and swimming in his back yard while growing up.

day 47: february 16th

Today we got news that my grandpa had taken a turn for the worst. He lives in Las Vegas, so me, my mom and Hilly hopped in a car and drove down to see him. He was diagnosed with throat cancer a few months ago and has been undergoing radiation and chemo. We got to the hospital late and were only able to stay a few minutes as he was very tired and could not talk well because of the radiation.

day 46: February 15th

I am not sure why, but this little man has been obsessed with elephants for the last six months or so. Maybe it has something to do with his Halloween costume. Who knows! Anyways, he got this guy for christmas and now has to sleep with him every night.

We spent most of the afternoon outside riding bikes and racing and throwing the football around. It was BEAUTIFUL! It makes me angry it is supposed to snow again soon. I am more than ready for spring!!

This is what it usually looks like in our house. Wrestling is a daily ritual. They are usually practicing to become ninjas. Boys. I will never understand why this is so much fun...

day 42: February 11th

Both boys had their Valentines parties at school today. I got to help in Cole's class. We had a tea and manners party. The kid makes me laugh. They went around in a circle and told the class who they loved and why. He said he loves Jake. The reason it made me giggle is because they had an AWESOME morning together. Fighting and teasing and even a little yelling in there. They are either the BEST of friends or the worst enemies. No in between at our house!

day 41: February 10th

Today we went to the aquarium while the boys were in school. Crewsers is obsessed with sharks and fish and all things in the water although he was a little timid when it came to touching the sting rays and the starfish. It was much fun.

The boys did their Valentines for school today. We are going to tie them onto strawberry crush sodas...
