day 302: October 29th

day 287: October 14th
We went to Frightmares at Lagoon today. This was the first ride we went on. The haunted house. Probably not such a good idea considering the second we walked into the park Crew saw some scary guy and started flipping out. He is by far our most cautious child when it comes to scary things...like Santa Claus. He held Jeff's hands over his eyes throughout the whole ride without peeking. After that, he did pretty well all things considered. Until the last ride of the night. Grams and Pa took him on a ride and on the way over, they saw a statue of a gargoyle. While they just so happened to be looking at it, smoke started to billow out and his wings started to grow and then the awesome gargoyle jumped out to scare him. I still have not heard the end of it. He NEVER wants to go to Lagoon again.

This kid has been working hard the last couple of weeks on a huge book report for school. He finally finished up today.

day 269: September 26th
He has become obsessed with the sand box. To the point of waking up and 7:00 in the morning and asking to go out. If we say no, he will sneak out the front door and make his way to the back. And he will play for hours out there. I am pretty sure most of our toys have ended up buried somewhere.
day 267: September 24th
We had the opportunity to participate in the Leukemia and Lymphomas Society, Light the Night walk. It really was amazing. To see hundreds of balloons lit up knowing that people are aware and willing to help fight and do whatever they can for a cure for cancer was very touching. Even though we are finished with treatments and try not to think about what our little guy had to deal with, it is always in the back of our minds. Because what if? There is always a chance that he can relapse or that someone else close to us can be diagnosed as well. So, we remember and will always choose to fight back.
day 260: September 17th
(Lucky you... a view right up my nose!) Jeff and I got to stay the night up in Midway with some friends. It was a much needed getaway with NO children!!
