day 89: March 30th

Played with some of our best friends that left us a few years ago for St. George. They have three boys exactly Jake and Cole and Crew's ages. The boys still ask if we can move there just so we can be close to them.

day 88: March 29th

We spent the day at the lake playing in the sand and then watching Percy Jackson in the theatre. Much fun. And much nicer than the snow in Utah.

day 87: March 28th

Today was the boys first day of Spring Break and I had no desire to stick around the cold weather, so we hopped in the car and went to St. George and Las Vegas for the week! Jeff had to stay home and work, so it was just me and the boys and Holli. We met my mom in Vegas on Wednesday.

Uh-oh! Looks like a little corner time!

Another try at 'the Chocolate'. Luckily, no ER visits this time around.

I noticed Crew's light was on as I was going to bed as is typical of this little man, and this is what I found: Crew asleep on the floor (please no comments about the binky. I am trying to make myself feel better that he still has one by telling myself it is for his 'grinding teeth' purposes) with all of his animals lined up from wall to wall.

day 82: March 23rd

So.... once again, I am slightly behind. My excuse this time is we were vacationing for Spring Break (yay!) and had no internet access. I think it is a pretty good excuse actually!:)

TODAY was grandparents day at Jake's school. He got to invite all of his grandma's and grandpa's and participate in a program just for them. He has been so excited all week. Here are some pictures with him and his grandparents. Because I didn't get to go to the school and gigi and pa were not able to attend, these were obviously taken last year.

Grandparents day is tomorrow for the second graders. We got to go to the dress rehearsal.

Jeff in his new 'custom' suit. He has been anticipating this for the last four weeks. He reminds me of a little kid. It was like christmas morning at our house today.

day 77: March 18th

Yes. He does have a big boy bed. He just refuses to sleep in it and prefers his crib.

This kid and his teeth. That darn chemo has done a number on them. He grinds them terribly at night and has ground one of the down to the gum line which in turn caused it to become infected. So, he got to have two teeth pulled today. Lucky brave boy.

Finally took Crew to do his 3 year old pictures at the train station today. I will post more of them on our family blog in a couple of days.

day 71: March 12th

Today was a good day. We got to go miniature golfing. And I won. Without cheating. I even got a hole in one.

day 70: March 11th

We spent the afternoon in the ER after Crew fell at "The Chocolate" and sliced his head open on the side of a bench. Luckily, no stitches, just a little bit of glue to make it all better again! Just another typical day in the Jamieson household with three boys.

We woke up to a surprising amount of snow this morning. It melted quick, so we made a 'baby' snowman before it was all gone.

We spent the afternoon at Jungle Jim's while the two older boys were in school. This kid loves anything that goes fast!

The Lorax:

We call Jake sensitive Sam. For some reason he is especially sensitive when it comes to animals and all things nature. He has come in the house sobbing when Cole was squishing ants... a typical boy thing to do, yelling that Cole was taking the poor ants away from their family. Same thing happened with potato bugs. Another time, we caught a lizard in Lake Powell. Again, Jake walked away very upset because the "lizard will die and his family won't know where he is at." We had to let the darn lizard go in order for him to calm down. That is why, I was not surprised in the least bit when he said his favorite book was The Lorax. I had no idea how to recreate this book without having to make a bazillion trees and so we settled for something a little easiee--Jake reading it!

day 62: march 3rd

I really need to start trying to do this everyday... I am thinking it would be much less work than constantly falling behind! Ahhh. Anyways...in honor of Dr. Suess' birthday this week, I asked each of my boys what their favorite Dr. Suess book was and we tried to recreate it with the things we had lying around the house.

First off, we have Crew:

Crazy that is march already. This year is already seeming to fly right by us!

Here is our Cole-train and his bear. Which he loves. And has loved since he was six months old. He found it sitting on his nightstand and has not let get ever since. Bear has now become part of our family and is even in many of our family pictures much to Jeff's dismay! But, how can I tell him no? Just look and see what I mean!:)
