Project 52: Week 5

This weeks theme was innocence. There is nothing more innocent to me than a three year old boy whose imagination has no bounds.

Surprising how I can get behind on weeks now. Sheesh. You would think it would be a little easier. This weeks theme is SHOES. I knew the second I saw it what I wanted to do. I found these shoes for Cole a few weeks ago and am completely in love with them...

10 on 10

I saw this post on someone else's blog and am totally copying the idea as well. On the 10th of every month, you take 10 pictures throughout the day and post them. I know it is past the 10th, but wanted to do it this month, so I figured, better late than never! It was a fun project, but a time consuming one to make sure I lug my camera around all day. Not to mention the fact that we were lazy and did nothing all day today.

9. We have our own little cookie monster living in our house. He goes by the name of Crew and will eat anything you place in front of him as long as it consists of chocolate, candy, or cookies.

project 52: Week 3

Week 3: JOY

This child brings me joy. Just looking at him makes me smile. When he opens his mouth and talks, I can't help but laugh. He came at a time that he was truly needed. And he brings everyone around him joy.

Week 1: 2012

I have gone back and forth for about the last month on what I wanted to do this year.  I knew I was not up for a picture everyday this year, but eventually found something that I think just might work out.  There was a group on flickr last year that shot something each week that pertained to a specific theme.  So, I am going to copy!  Keeping to the themes that they did last year.  It is a little different and hopefully a little easier to keep up with this time around!

I did not know what I was getting myself into when I started this project. I will admit, there were a few days that I cheated, but overall I am pretty impressed that I was able to stick with it. And I loved it. I love looking back over the course of the year and seeing small snippets of what we did. Because you forget. And it is those small moments that count. Here is to 2011:

We spent about nine more hours in the car today driving to Colorado for a sweet baby boy's blessing and to spend the New Year with our cousins.
