day 47: february 16th

Today we got news that my grandpa had taken a turn for the worst. He lives in Las Vegas, so me, my mom and Hilly hopped in a car and drove down to see him. He was diagnosed with throat cancer a few months ago and has been undergoing radiation and chemo. We got to the hospital late and were only able to stay a few minutes as he was very tired and could not talk well because of the radiation.
